Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Sr. HR Generalist – Regional Business Partner to support the Florida region of our partner companies. This is a newly created role, focused on integrating and optimizing HR processes across multiple Vertex partner brands. Initially, the role will be operational — ensuring smooth payroll, onboarding, and compliance —but will evolve into a strategic HR business partner role as processes are standardized and best practices are implemented.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational HR Execution
- New Hire Onboarding: Manage full-cycle onboarding, including offer letters, background checks, and I-9 compliance.
- Payroll & HRIS Management: Ensure accurate payroll processing, adjustments, tax setup, year-end tax documentation, and reporting through ADP Workforce Now.
- Compliance & Data Integrity: Audit and maintain employee records, job titles, and reporting structures, and compliance with employment laws.
- Benefits & Leave Administration: Oversee enrollments, open enrollment, leave management (FMLA, STD, etc.), and pay adjustments.
HR Business Partner Evolution
- HR Integration & Standardization: Assess and align partner company HR policies with corporate best practices.
- Change Management: Lead culture shifts to drive consistency in HR processes across multiple locations.
- Strategic Workforce Planning: Partner with leadership on org design, talent planning, and performance management.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, supporting a high-performance culture. Leading engagement surveys and eNPS collection.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of HR generalist experience in a multi-site or high-growth environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, payroll, and benefits administration.
- ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent relationship-building and change management skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Willingness to travel in-state up to 25%, especially in the first 6 months.
Compensation and Benefits:
Vertex intends to offer the selected candidate a competitive base salary plus an annual bonus potential. The actual offer will be based on experience, location, and qualifications.

Salary : $75,000 - $100,000
