The Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager with 2-5 years of experience at a social media agency to handle content creation, social media management, and client relationships. This role is for someone proactive who wants to grow with the company.
- Create and schedule social media content across multiple platforms.
- Manage accounts and ensure consistent engagement and brand voice.
- Meet with clients to discuss strategy, performance, and content direction.
- Develop content calendars and campaign strategies aligned with client goals.
- Write captions, craft copy, and optimize posts for performance.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and community interactions.
- Track analytics and provide insights to improve engagement and reach.
- Coordinate with designers and video editors to create high-quality visuals.
- Research trends, platform updates, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the team on brainstorming sessions and content ideas.
- 2-4 years of experience at a social media agency.
- Strong writing and content creation skills.
- Experience with graphic design (we use Canva but any other platform is a plus!), social media management platforms (Sprout Social, Brandwatch, Metricool, etc.), and video editing tools (CapCut or similar).
- Comfortable speaking with clients and presenting ideas.
- Self-driven and able to manage multiple tasks.
- A portfolio showcasing past work (social media posts, graphics, and videos).
- Bonus: Located in NYC (not required, but a plus).
