Accounts Payable Analyst

Vertical Supply Group is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Greensboro, NC. An ideal candidate has a growth mindset that enjoys a fast-paced evolving environment where they can utilize their critical thinking abilities to make recommendations for process improvements and efficiency gains. This person will report to the Accounts Payable Manager and work collaboratively with all departments within the organization. This is a full-time position in the Greensboro office!

Responsibilities:

· Assist in the new vendor set up process

· Maintain vendor master records as it relates Accounts Payable

· Creation of ACH and wire templates in banking platforms

· Processing invoices using document management software

· Processing weekly payment runs in ERP’s and banking platforms

· Work with third parties/agencies to ensure tax compliance (Sales and Use Tax, Occupancy, etc)

· Report and perform analysis on disbursement and purchasing trends

· Work with Auditors and tax agencies to provide requested documentation for audits and tax filings

· Balance sheet account reconciliations on Accounts Payable subledger, Prepaid Inventory, and Goods Received not invoiced.

· Month end close and journal entries related to Accounts Payable and invoice accruals

· Assist in business and ERP integrations as it relates acquisitions within the accounts payable function.

· Assist with related journal entries and month end close tasks.

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

· Large volume accounts payable invoice processing and payment disbursement runs.

· Business partnering with Purchasing, Operations, and external suppliers.

· Tax compliance

· Experience with AP in ERP systems (NetSuite) and Document Capture (OCR) technology

· Strong excel analytical skills.

· Analytical experience with key AP Metrics and reporting

· Experience with Account Payable and A/P related month-end closing task.
