Job Title : Project Manager Suicide Mortality Review Board (SMR)
Location : Boston MA 02114
Duration : 6 Months (Possibility of extension)

About the Role :
The Suicide Prevention Program is seeking a detailoriented and proactive Project Manager to lead the Suicide Mortality Review Board (SMR) a critical initiative under the Governors Challenge to Prevent Suicide Among Service Members Veterans and their Families. This role will involve overseeing the SMR which brings together experts to review suicide deaths and identify public health interventions to prevent suicide across the state. The Project Manager will work closely with SMR leads and collaborate with various stakeholders to drive this impactful initiative.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and facilitate Suicide Mortality Review Committee meetings ensuring timely execution detailed recordkeeping and alignment with key goals and objectives.
Manage communications among subjectlevel experts across the state including information dissemination consensusbuilding scheduling and related tasks.
Oversee the preparation of Suicide Mortality Review Committee documentation with exceptional attention to detail and timeliness.
Ensure the secure storage and appropriate access to sensitive information.
Coordinate the development and dissemination of written summary reports with actionable recommendations for key decisionmakers to inform suicide prevention interventions.
Serve as a liaison between local and state agencies on matters related to the SMR.
Build and maintain relationships with private local state and federal agencies to exchange information raise awareness and foster collaboration.
Ensure compliance with federal funding requirements and document task completion.
Oversee contracting and administrative tasks associated with federal funding.
Qualifications :
Education : Masters Degree preferred.
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience with a strong background in project management .
Knowledge : Familiarity with suicide prevention particularly postvention is a plus.
Skills :
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational and meeting facilitation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Other Requirements : Valid drivers license and / or ability to travel to remote locations as needed.
