Job Summary:
Verve Search Group is currently working with a client in Casa Grande, Arizona that is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lab Supervisor to join their team. The client is a leader in the Food and Beverages Industry. The person in this role will oversee all analytical testing conducted by the in-house QA/QC Lab Technicians.
Job Duties:
- Supervise the QA/QC lab technicians overseeing scheduling, providing training, evaluating performance, and managing all disciplinary actions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality and food safety programs in the lab as well as across the plant.
- Conduct routine plant audits to ensure strategic compliance with quality standards, food safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the timely and accurate submission of lab reports to country quality measures.
- Oversee the review, maintenance, and storage of quality records and various documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree Strongly Preferred.
- 2-3 years of Quality Lab Experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong hands on experience with analytical testing such as chromatography and microbiological assays, which is crucial for accurate product evaluation.
- Strong hands on experience and understanding of Quality Management systems needed to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Familiarly with food safety regulations such as HACCP and FSMA.
Salary : $95,000 - $100,000
