The Key Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue and profit growth within a defined set of clients by maintaining a long-term relationship and maximizing sales opportunities within them.

What You'll Accomplish:
  • Achieve annual quota target by growing account revenue and margin.
  • Create lifetime customer value. (Growing trend line)
  • Diversify by growing depth and breadth of contacts and service and product offerings between Vervint and the client.
  • Ensure timely and accurate forecasting and management of your sales pipeline.
  • Manage customer communication and escalation.
  • Develop a solid and trusting relationship with customer stakeholders and executives.
  • Understand your customer's business goals and help assemble Vervint executive sponsors, practice leaders, or delivery resources to create strategies to support them.
  • Develop a sales plan for assigned accounts, including identification, developing, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and proposal pricing.
  • Work closely with principals, practice leads, delivery leads, and team members from other departments to ensure the highest quality of delivery to delight the customer.
What You'll Bring:
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with consultative and insight-based sales approaches to growing existing accounts.
  • Familiar or willing to learn: infrastructure knowledge, product awareness, and OEM.
  • Strong negotiation and prospecting skills.
  • Collaborative and highly engaged approach.
  • Strong track record of meeting sales objectives such as quota and productivity requirements.
  • Customer oriented problem solving and analytical mindset.
  • Certified sales methodology training preferred.
  • Possess a growth mindset.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
  • At least 4 years of experience working in technology sales, business development, or management consulting.
