Vessel is growing rapidly, with scores of projects in planning, and we’re looking for an Accounting Manager, Manufacturing to join our accounting team. In this role, you will lead key financial processes and ensure accurate, timely reporting related to inventory, cost accounting, and plant operations.
\n- Oversee all manufacturing-related accounting, including inventory, standard costs, and COGS
- Manage month-end and year-end close activities specific to production and inventory
- Analyze manufacturing variances and partner with operations to investigate root causes and improve margin performance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies
- Maintain and update standard costs; perform cost rollups and BOM analysis
- Prepare and present reports on manufacturing financial performance and KPIs
- Support audits by providing documentation and explanations related to manufacturing accounting
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Ops to improve data flow, accuracy, and systems integration
- Assist in NetSuite implementation and system enhancements related to manufacturing modules
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
- 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 in a manufacturing or product-based environment
- Deep knowledge of cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Ability to work cross-functionally and explain financial concepts to non-finance teams
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
