What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Architecture position at Vessel Technologies?
At Vessel, we are committed to addressing one of the world’s most pressing challenges—the global housing crisis. In 2024, we introduced the V1, a revolutionary solution that redefines affordable living. Beautifully designed, brilliantly engineered, sustainable, and built with health in mind, the V1 makes high-quality housing accessible to those who earn too much for subsidized housing but too little for market-rate options. We are backed by leading venture capitalists, such as Mosaic Ventures, and by the nation's preeminent homebuilder, Lennar, Inc.
Vessel is not a traditional architecture firm—we are a product company. Like Apple reimagined the phone and Tesla reinvented the car, we are transforming housing through high-design, precision engineering, and innovative materials. The Director of Architecture will be at the forefront of this movement, leading a team of designers and engineers to create beautiful, efficient, and attainably priced living environments that elevate the human experience.
