About the Role
We’re looking for a Retention Marketing Specialist who knows how to turn customer data into smart, effective communication. You’ll use your expertise in Klaviyo to build and optimize email and SMS campaigns that drive retention, boost loyalty, and increase lifetime value. What You’ll Do:
Klaviyo Campaign Management:
- Develop, execute, and optimize SMS and email marketing campaigns using Klaviyo.
- Utilize Klaviyo's advanced features to segment audiences, create personalized content, and implement automation workflows.
Retention Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement a comprehensive retention strategy that aligns with business goals.
- Analyze customer data to identify opportunities for improving customer retention and engagement.
A/B Testing and Optimization:
- Conduct A/B testing on various elements of SMS and email campaigns to identify best-performing strategies.
- Implement optimization techniques to continually improve campaign performance and key metrics.
Customer Segmentation:
- Develop and implement customer segmentation strategies to deliver targeted and relevant content to different audience segments.
- Use data insights to understand customer behavior and preferences, tailoring campaigns accordingly.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports to the marketing team.
- Utilize data-driven insights to make recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
Compliance and Best Practices:
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, compliance regulations, and Klaviyo platform updates.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in retention or lifecycle marketing, ideally in a fast-paced DTC or eCommerce environment
- Deep knowledge of Klaviyo, including flows, campaigns, segmentation, and reporting
- A strong grasp of customer lifecycle stages, LTV drivers, and strategies to reduce churn
- Proven track record running A/B tests and translating results into actionable insights
- Comfortable working with customer data—knowing what to look for and how to act on it
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; you know how to work cross-functionally and keep projects moving.
- Bonus if you’ve worked with loyalty programs, post-purchase surveys, or feedback loops
