Purpose:
The Co-op role provides a learning experience in a manufacturing setting for students’ related field of undergraduate or graduate study. Co-op with an engineering focus would support activities pertaining to Vesuvius Penn’s Maintenance program.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist Maintenance Manager in creating Preventative maintenance schedules and procedures
- Assist in identifying and documenting critical spares list of manufacturing machine components
- Help identify potential machine or process improvements
- Provide administrative support for the Maintenance program
- Assist with documenting written Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
- Aid with internal audits and inspections
- Other duties as assigned

- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in an Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or other related technical field of study
- Previous experience as an intern a plus
