Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any medical conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on the diagnosis.
- Perform surgeries and other medical procedures as necessary.
- Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed.
- Provide emergency care for critically ill or injured animals.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the state.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal husbandry, and critical care practices.
- Proficiency in animal handling techniques and pet grooming skills is preferred.
- Experience in laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff.

Pay: $108,541.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental Pay:
