We are seeking a hardworking and compassionate Kennel Assistant/Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients while assisting our veterinary staff.
You'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Animal Restraint & Handling: Safely assist in handling animals during exams and procedures.
- Cleaning & Sanitation: Perform routine cleaning of animal housing, treatment areas, and general clinic upkeep to maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Document Scanning & Management: Assist with scanning and filing veterinary records and documents.
- Client Communication: Occasionally assist with client communication and help manage appointments or inquiries as needed.
- General Assistance: Support the veterinary team with various tasks as required .
- Previous experience with animals or in a veterinary clinic setting is preferred, but not required .
- Strong ability to handle and restrain animals safely and humanely.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A bility to maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
