Located just 30 minutes from Durham, NC, Oxford is a charming small town with a vibrant downtown, local shops, and a variety of great restaurants. It’s an excellent place to enjoy a slower pace of life while still being close enough to larger metropolitan areas.
About Our Practice
- Hospital Features: Our clinic is an extension of our long history in the area, with modern updates in place. We have 3 exam rooms, a comfort/consult room, a dental suite, a surgical suite, and a dedicated treatment area.
- Equipment: We provide access to ultrasound technology to aid in diagnosis and care, and are always looking to stay current with the latest advancements.
- Patient Base: We see an 80% dog and 20% cat patient base, with a typical caseload of 12-16 patients per day.
- Work Environment: We value collaboration, and our doctor-to-technician ratio is excellent (2 technicians for every 1 doctor). We have assistants currently working towards becoming RVTs, and Dr. Thompson has a special interest in dentistry.
