Why This Role As an Assistant Controller you will play a key role in managing daytoday accounting functions and working closely with management and executive teams. You ll supervise mentor and motivate the accounting team while driving process improvements and ensuring compliance across the board.
What You ll Do :
Manage the completion of accounts reconciliation and analytical reports.
Ensure accurate accounting and reporting including data shared with volume partners.
Oversee accurate and timely payment of travel MRO and inventory payables while monitoring process reviews and performance metrics.
Coordinate the monthend closing cycle including preparing and reviewing journal entries analyzing key accounts and reporting results to the Controller.
Review department expenditures and perform actualtobudget comparisons.
Oversee fixed asset compliance.
Prepare and review executive financial comments.
Ensure compliance with taxes including sales payroll and use taxes.
Initiate process improvements and assist with special projects.

Requirements
Must have served in U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Air Force U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Space Force U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.
10 years of relevant managerial accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Strong leadership and supervisory experience.
Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Comfortable presenting to peers and highlevel management.
Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with analytical tools like Tableau preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
Deadlinedriven and selfmotivated.
Demonstrates integrity adaptability and a drive for results.
Skilled in influencing others managing talent and fostering innovation.
Experience with SAP S4 / HANA Cloud preferred.
Big 4 experience preferred.
IFRS reporting experience preferred.
Bachelor s degree in Accounting required; CPA or MBA preferred.
