Are you a strategic leader with deep expertise in cybersecurity and risk management? We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Security to develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy to protect digital assets, intellectual property, and operational technologies. You will work across all areas of the business to create a best-in-class security and compliance program, ensuring robust protection against emerging threats.

What You'll Do :

Enterprise Security Strategy :

Develop and implement an enterprise-wide information security strategy and program.
Ensure the security of proprietary data, intellectual property, and customer information.
Oversee the protection of operational technologies (OT) and industrial control systems (ICS) used in manufacturing processes.
Act as an advisor to the CIO regarding compliance with information security policies.

Risk Management & Compliance :

Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats.

Establish and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to comply with industry regulations.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA) and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).

Assess and manage security risks associated with third-party vendors and service providers.

Security Operations & Incident Response :

Implement and manage security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems, and endpoint protection.

Monitor access to physical locations using camera monitoring systems, badges, and digital access controls.

Lead responses to security incidents and breaches, including investigation, containment, and remediation.

Conduct post-incident analysis and implement continuous improvements.

Collaboration & Leadership :

Lead the information security team, providing mentorship and professional development.

Work with IT, Operations, Legal, and other departments to ensure a holistic security approach.

Negotiate security requirements in contracts and service level agreements.

Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.

Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Report on the status of security initiatives to the executive team and board of directors.

Requirements

Must have served in U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves, or U.S. National Guard.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Proven experience securing OT and ICS environments in a manufacturing setting.

Expertise in information security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).

Experience in risk management, incident response, and vulnerability management.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
