Are you an expert in designing and optimizing complex network infrastructures? We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to lead the strategic design and implementation of a robust and scalable network for a greenfield manufacturing facility. This role encompasses hybrid cloud datacenter, LAN, WAN, 5G, Wireless, and OT connectivity, ensuring seamless, secure, and high-performance operations. As a hands-on leader, you will also step in as a Senior / Lead Network Engineer during operational phases, providing troubleshooting, support, and mentorship to the team.

What You’ll Do :
Network Design and Architecture :
- Develop and implement strategic network architecture plans to support current and future business needs.
- Ensure scalability, security, and reliability of network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to align network infrastructure with organizational goals and future growth.
- Serve as the Senior / Lead Network Engineer during operational phases.
- Provide advanced support for network issues, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
- Design and implement network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection / prevention systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry security standards and best practices.
- Continuously monitor and analyze network performance.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance speed, reliability, and security.
- Lead network-related projects from initial design to full implementation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage resources to ensure successful outcomes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.
- Foster skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network architecture, configurations, and processes.
- Work with vendors and service providers to evaluate new technologies and solutions.
- Must have served in U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves, or U.S. National Guard.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years in a network architect or senior engineering role.
- Proven experience designing and managing large-scale, complex network environments.
- Expertise in network protocols, routing, switching, and security technologies.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing enterprise-level networking hardware (e.g., Cisco, HP Aruba, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
- Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent highly preferred.
- Security certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
