Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated Nurse Practitioners to perform one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension exams for Veterans filing health disability claims. You will receive extensive training to ensure efficient charting and completion of Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in one-on-one live training to master DBQ charting
- Conduct in-person examinations of Veterans at either designated practice locations or an approved location of your choice
- Maintain a professional relationship without ongoing care responsibilities and avoid prescribing any medications
- Document findings thoroughly using our secure web portal to support the Veteran's diagnosis/disability assessment
- Expect examination appointments to last approximately 30 minutes to one hour, depending on the number of claims
