Staffing Pros, a division of VETS Inc., is recruiting for a full-time Contracting Specialist / Procurement Desktop-Defense (PD2) System Administrator at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL. This position requires an Active Top Secret clearance and a CompTIA Security certification.

Responsibilities
This role requires expertise in DoD contracting processes and PD2 system administration.
- Provide end-user support and training on DoD electronic business applications, including the Standard Procurement System (SPS) and related eBusiness applications.
- Manage network credentials and system access to ensure the functionality of the contracting infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to develop evaluations, analyses, and data-intensive reports critical for mission success.
- Respond to data calls and support all aspects of contracting operations in coordination with the COR.
- Notify the COR of contract modifications that may conflict with DPAP memorandums, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and SOCOM Acquisition Regulation Supplement (SOFARS).
- Perform system administration tasks, including report writing, script execution, and troubleshooting.
- Act as the primary liaison with the SPS Helpdesk for issue escalation and resolution.
- Provide functional contracting guidance as required.
- Develop custom reports using Cognos, the SPS built-in report-writing tool.
- Monitor and resolve daily error logs and interface issues.
- Support software upgrades, Information Assurance (IA) vulnerability remediation, and software deployments.
