VetsEZ is seeking a remote Data Scientist to be a part of a remote team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities :
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Apply statistical analysis, machine learning models, and predictive analytics to solve complex problems and uncover trends and patterns.
- Build, test, and deploy scalable data models, algorithms, and workflows to support organizational objectives.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders effectively.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and technical teams to understand business goals and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Conduct hypothesis testing and design experiments to optimize processes and outcomes.
- Utilize tools and techniques for data mining, natural language processing (NLP), and predictive analytics.
- Document data processes, models, and workflows to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.
