Summary
This position performs a wide range of clerical functions and supporting various professionals within the Prosthetics & Sensory Aids Service Office.
Duties
As the Prosthetics Clerk , you will :
- Supervise the reception area (., screen telephone calls, routing calls and receive clients and visitors
- Use word processing software to produce a variety of documents
- Operate and maintain a wide variety of office equipment and computers, maintain ADP security
- Review and distribute electronic consults for prosthetic equipment and services to appropriate representative
- Assist Veterans by researching and issuing appropriate requested prosthetic items available in stock
- Update inventory data and complete consult for services rendered
- Receive, review, and distributes incoming mail to appropriate personnel
- Assist purchasing agents with packaging and mailing prosthetic supplies to clients
- Obtain, review and maintain office records including determine client entitlement
Work Schedule : Monday through Friday, 0730-1600
