Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. The candidate must be willing to cook a limited menu when our kitchen is not open.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink offerings.
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, communicating with bar manager when inventory is low as to maintain stock.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bartending or food service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of retail math for managing transactions effectively.
- Strong hospitality skills with an ability to create memorable experiences for guests.
- Commitment to maintaining food safety standards in all aspects of service.
