First Shift
As a Production Manager, you'll take charge of a significant portion of the plant’s daily operations, driving improvements in productivity and business metrics. You will lead, develop, and inspire production personnel, focusing on fostering next-generation leadership and creating an environment of excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor Production Supervisors, fostering accountability, growth, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure production schedules meet customer demands while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with leadership and engineering teams to implement Lean manufacturing practices and drive productivity enhancements.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics, ensuring budgetary goals are achieved.
- Lead the development and execution of annual operating budgets and financial plans.
- Promote adherence to safety rules, ISO-9000 standards, and quality assurance protocols.
- Cultivate a culture of fairness, consistency, and inclusivity.
- Motivate and train personnel, instilling a sense of responsibility and tracking progress through evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a high-volume industrial manufacturing environment OR Associate degree with 8 years of similar experience OR equivalent education and experience in such settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Availability to work weekend overtime as required.
Preferred:
- Expertise in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
- A demonstrated track record of driving productivity and process improvements in high-complexity manufacturing environments.
