What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist/Client Care Specialist position at Veterinary Clinic?
We are a fun, full service veterinary hospital dedicated to high quality medicine looking for an PART TIME (16-24 hours per week) experienced Veterinary Client Care Specialist with excellent verbal and interpersonal skills to join our work family.

We are looking for someone with experience with client services, who is self-motivated, detail oriented and dedicated to providing quality care to our patients with great customer service skills. Applicant must be a team player.

Because of this we are looking for a personable, highly professional Client Care Specialist to join us in delivering the utmost in client/patient care on a daily basis.
Specific job requirements include by not limited to:
- Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
- Presenting and explaining fees in accordance to set policies, including processing payments.
- Answering questions, but not giving uneducated medical advice, regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
- Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence/communications.
- Hospital maintenance and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside.
- Plus other routine day-to-day tasks as needed.
- Knowledge of Cornerstone is a plus but not a requirement.
Responsibilities Summary:
Applicant should be a quick learner who is open minded with the drive and hunger to learn. Be flexible, reliable, personable, patient and great customer service skills with a positive attitude.
Physical Demands:
Work is performed in an office environment. Ability to sit for long periods of time, stooping, and bending to pick up 30 lbs. or more.
