Veterinary Emergency and Critical care is a multi-doctor hospital that offers personal, progressive, and comprehensive animal care to dogs, cats, and occasionally pocket pets in the Southern New Hampshire area. We practice the highest quality medicine while providing our patients and clients with the utmost care and compassion. Our hospital offers many services including emergency and urgent care exams, anesthesia and sedation, internal medicine, in-house pharmacy, surgery and acupuncture. We are ready with positive, experienced support staff and excellent clientele and are well-equipped with ultrasound, digital radiography, and a complete Idexx in-house laboratory. We are currently looking to expand our Internal Medicine team with someone who has a positive attitude, is self-aware, and is self-motivated. We have a comprehensive benefits package including- Shift differential pay, Health, Dental, 401K, Vision, PTO, Scrub allowance, and CE opportunities. We are looking for a candidate who can work three 12-hour shifts and is a Certified Veterinary Technician.
Our Ideal Candidate would have the following skills-
- Performs all duties in accordance with government regulations and hospital policies and
procedures.
assists the doctor in administering anesthetics; monitors patients during surgery and recovery;
administers fluids.
animal care; explains dosage / purpose of medications; reinforces the proper care and
procedures that should be followed at home; makes follow-up calls to clients.
