Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Attendant/Technicican to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong commitment to providing excellent service to both pets and their owners. As a Kennel Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of the animals in our care while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for dogs and other animals, including feeding, walking, and bathing.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management or veterinary staff.
- Assist with customer service duties, including greeting clients, answering questions, and providing information about services.
- Help with administrative tasks such as record keeping.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed to protect both animals and staff.
Skills
- Experience in kennel or animal care settings is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners.
- Proficient in dog handling techniques and understanding animal behavior.
- Knowledge of general animal care practices, including feeding, bathing, and health monitoring.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is beneficial but not required.

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
