As Practice Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the hospitals business operations, working closely with the Medical Director to ensure high-quality patient care while optimizing business performance. Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Management
- Recruit, develop, and retain an engaged and motivated team.
- Provide thorough training to new hires and create ongoing educational opportunities for the team.
- Lead regular staff and doctor meetings in collaboration with the Medical Director to foster communication and team cohesion.
- Cultivate a positive and collaborative culture aligned with VetEvolves core values: Serve, Evolve, Trust.
- Address and resolve employee concerns promptly and effectively.
- Implement and ensure adherence to safety and security protocols.
- Optimize workflows and staffing to ensure efficient operations and high levels of client satisfaction.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including payroll, revenue, and inventory to meet financial goals.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and Regional Manager to drive organic growth initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve hospital performance goals.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure proper use of software systems for accurate client and patient records.
- Ensure the hospitals equipment is properly maintained and up-to-date.
- Promote continuous improvement in all areas, from patient care to business performance.
- Take on additional duties as needed to meet the needs of the hospital and community.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within a veterinary practice or hospital, such as Practice Manager, Hospital Administrator, or similar.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive results and create a motivated, high-performing team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong financial acumen, including budget management and performance analysis.
- A passion for innovation, creativity, and driving positive change.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while independently managing day-to-day operations.
- Willingness to relocate to or commute to Easton, MD.
