We are currently looking for an experienced Client Services Representative to join our growing team. Someone who has excellent communication skills, is outgoing, compassionate, committed, and above all has a love for animals. Our Client Service Representatives play a vital role in providing an exceptional experience for our clients, by being the point person for client communications, coordinating, scheduling, and daily workflow. This is a full-time position. Compensation for this role is $16 $21/hour based on experience and opportunities for overtime. Generous benefits package for full-time employees including health insurance, paid time off, scrub allowance, pet discount, a flexible schedule, and more (see below). Monday- Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities
Maintain the visual appeal for the hospital reception area greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients and process payments. Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes.
- Frontline Ambassador: Be the friendly face (or voice) that greets clients and their furry companions.
- Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently manage appointments, ensuring smooth flow and minimal wait times.
- Client Education: Educate pet owners on preventive care, treatment options, and wellness plans.
- Billing and Payments: Handle financial transactions with finesse and empathy.
- Complaint Resolution: Turn frowns upside down by addressing concerns and finding solutions.
- Other duties as assigned (e.g. maintaining lobby standards)

- Scrub Allowance: Eligible on 1st day

- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years in a customer service or relevant position
- Minimum of 1 year veterinary experience preferred
- Proficient and fast keyboard typing skills
- Ability to answer multi-line phone calls and resolve issues effectively
- Ability Maintain accurate patient records
- Ability to prioritize effectively
- Ability to handle and process cash and credit card payment transactions
- Possess a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team effectively
- Proficiency in Cornerstone software is a plus
