Title: Testing Chemists (x2)
Iowa 100% onsite
Duration: 6 months
Description: Our pharmaceutical client is seeking two Analytical Testing Chemists with HPLC, and Routine Testing experience in a GMP environment. These chemists would preferably have experience with Empower software. They will also be responsible for general chemistry such as UV-Vis, Karl Fischer (KF) titrations, etc. These candidates will be on the same project or one of two projects. Their internal generics need more support so it will be more routine testing; a lot of HPLC, Wet Chemistry, testing from the USP, etc. There will not be any investigations/deviations paperwork done on their end but they would be involved with OOS and the re-test which is essentially the same as the initial testing. They will also need to be able to work independently within reason (once they get in the groove, it will be more hands off).
Background: 3-6 years of experience. These candidates cannot just have theory on HPLC and ran it for a few months. They need to have actual industry experience and can work autonomously. There will be some general training but not what is typical as a permanent employee.
Education: Preferably undergraduate degree, but not required.
