We are adding a Business Operations Analyst to our Team. This is a hybrid role located in our Corporate Irving office . (3 days in office and 2 days remote)

PURPOSE
Under supervision of the financial analytics director, the candidate will provide routine and ad hoc analytical and reporting support for the organization by investigating and combining data from disparate systems. The candidate should be comfortable with financial close deadlines and mining financial data from relational databases and then using that data to build solutions and / or narratives for stakeholders. Competence in building queries using SQL is required. The ideal candidate enjoys learning, manages change well, enjoys solving complex problems, and possesses excellent time management and organizational skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the Corporate Finance Analytics team, the candidate is expected to :
Produce monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc data and analytics support to stakeholders throughout the enterprise with minimal supervision
Seek to understand business requirements and translate those requirements into data-driven solutions
Interrogate data using SQL and build data models and / or dashboards related to business use cases to identify patterns and outliers for consumption by stakeholders
Collaborate and build relationships with peers and various professionals within the organization
Serve as a liaison between Operations and IT
Other duties may be assigned

Additional Qualifications / Responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of directly related experience in an analytical, decision support, or reporting role using SQL or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio and SQL query language, including stored procedures, query creation and execution, and table creation and maintenance
Demonstrated proficiency in PowerBI or similar business intelligence tool
Demonstrated proficiency in R, or Python (Python preferred)
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, to include use of advanced formulas, pivot tables, VBA, and MS Query in Excel
Building supply industry experience is a plus
