Duties and Responsibilities
- Working alongside caretakers primarily attending to designated park areas.
- Acting as a point of contact for employees and assisting as needed.
- Completing refuse collection tasks within designated parks.
- Servicing trash and recycling receptacles on a preset schedule.
- Maintaining and restocking dog waste bag stations.
- Assisting maintenance workers with various park-related tasks.
- Performing regular maintenance on park infrastructure, including cleaning and repairs.
- Inspecting park furnishings for safety and cleanliness.
- Conducting specialty projects such as power washing, painting, installation and removal of park furnishings, repairs, inspections, and general upkeep.
- Providing proper documentation to the supervisor.
- Completing work orders using the designated work order application.
- Assisting with daily documentation and inventory checks.
- Participating in inclement weather cleanup and emergency response efforts.
- Operating various maintenance equipment, including hand tools, power tools (electric and fuel-powered), trucks, lift gate trucks, and utility vehicles.
This position involves significant physical labor, including but not limited to stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, sitting, climbing, balancing, and reaching with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 80 pounds from ground level to the back of a pick-up truck.
