This is an exciting opportunity to join Vetter Senior Living as a Community Experience Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and inclusive community environment that encourages resident participation and engagement. You will work closely with residents to understand their needs and preferences, developing and implementing activities that cater to their interests and needs.
Responsibilities
- Daily operations oversight: Ensure the community runs smoothly, with a focus on resident satisfaction and overall quality of life.
- Social activity planning: Create and implement engaging activities that cater to residents' interests and needs, promoting social interaction, well-being, and enrichment.
- Event planning and execution: Coordinate events and activities that promote physical, emotional, and social engagement for elderly residents, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
- Customer service and relations: Provide exceptional service to residents, addressing concerns and needs promptly and professionally, while maintaining a compassionate and empathetic approach.
- Leasing and contract management: Assist with the leasing process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and residents' needs are met.
- Facility maintenance: Ensure the community grounds and buildings are well-maintained, performing regular inspections and coordinating necessary upkeep and repairs.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in hospitality, customer service, or event planning, with experience working with seniors or in active aging communities preferred.
- Knowledge of life enrichment strategies and creating engaging activities for older adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and prospective residents.
- Proficiency in office software, community management tools, and social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, and ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds.
