Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in delivering exceptional patient care in various medical settings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical duties, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with documentation.
- Provide excellent patient service and ensure patient comfort and confidentiality.
- Assist in medical-surgical procedures, coding, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals in specialties such as geriatrics, internal medicine, OR, and outpatient care.
Requirements:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification OR currently studying.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in eClinicalworks electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
