Job Description
We are seeking an experienced professional to provide on-demand review and analysis of government contract-related documents, including NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Subcontracts, and Purchase Orders. This is a 1099 contractor role with flexible hours, ideal for someone with deep knowledge of government contracting regulations and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and draft NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Subcontracts, and Purchase Orders.
- Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and other government contracting regulations.
- Identify and mitigate risks in contract terms and conditions.
- Provide clear, concise recommendations for edits or approvals.
- Advise on legal and regulatory implications of contract clauses.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address specific project needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field. JD preferred but not required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in government contracting, particularly in reviewing and negotiating agreements.
- Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and SBA compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of small business programs, including 8(a), HUBZone, and SDVOSB requirements.
- Knowledge of CMMC, DCAA, and ITAR compliance is a plus.
