The Email and Marketing Automation Specialist will assist in developing and executing marketing automation and email marketing campaigns, supporting cross-functional teams in bringing customer journeys to life through text and email communications. This role will focus on implementing email marketing best practices, executing campaigns, and analyzing performance data to optimize marketing efforts.
The specialist will work under the guidance of senior team members to execute against defined segmentation strategies, personalize campaigns, and monitor performance metrics to drive engagement and conversions. This role requires strong attention to detail, creativity, and a data-driven mindset to support marketing automation initiatives.

WHAT OUR EMAIL & MARKETING AUTOMATION SPECIALIST WILL DO ONCE THEY'RE HERE
- Assist in executing and optimizing email marketing and automation strategies to support client objectives.
- Collaborate with teams to gather campaign requirements and configure email automation workflows.
- Maintain and optimize customer data for segmentation, personalization, and targeting.
- Ensure adherence to email design best practices, accessibility, and brand guidelines.
- Conduct thorough QA testing, including content accuracy, rendering, and link functionality.
- Execute A/B testing to improve engagement and analyze results for optimization opportunities.
- Generate and analyze performance reports to track campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Support the maintenance, integration, and optimization of marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Marketo, HubSpot).
- Assist in database management, ensuring proper list hygiene, segmentation, and compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing automation innovations to enhance marketing efforts.
- Contribute to the development of scalable processes, best practice documentation, and data governance initiatives.
- Work with leadership to assess and enhance CRM, marketing automation, and lead generation services.
- Completes timesheets daily.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
- Basic understanding of email marketing and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Marketo, HubSpot, or similar).
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email formatting (preferred but not required).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and draw actionable insights.
- Experience with A/B testing and optimizing email performance.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow established workflows.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience working in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (Tableau, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams.
- Knowledge of integrated marketing strategies and digital marketing principles.
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal teams.
- Ability to understand and adhere to budgets and schedules.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or marketing automation.
- Familiarity with email marketing best practices and CRM platforms.
