Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily dispatching of loads, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries
- Provide drivers with clear instructions, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and teams to maintain smooth service and resolve delivery issues
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, deliveries, and driver logs in the TMS system
- Analyze data to enhance operational efficiency and implement improvements
- Train and support the dispatch team, manage driver schedules, and review logs
- Address customer inquiries and complaints, collaborating with customer service to resolve issues
- Prepare bids, negotiate rates and delivery timelines, and review credit applications for new customers
- Create customer profiles, complete Carrier Packets, and ensure safety and compliance
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dispatch or logistics preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure, make quick decisions, and adapt to change
- Proficient with computer systems and dispatch software
- Positive attitude and a collaborative team spirit

- Regular shift: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
