What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent position at VI Resorts?
We are accepting applications for a part-time front desk associate (average 3-4 shifts a week/ 15-24 hours a week).
As this position is focused on customer service, a qualifying applicant must have excellent communication and people skills. Applicant should have a working knowledge of computers including Word, Excel, email communications and other common programs. A qualifying candidate should be able to prioritize and multi-task. A Front Desk Associate needs to be dependable with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while providing team support as the Front Desk is the hub of the resort. A qualifying candidate should have the ability to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with owners and staff members.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or occasionally lift 10 – 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
To be considered for this position, a minimum of two years front desk experience with preference given to hospitality experience.
Our front desk hours are currently 8:30AM - 7:00PM, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Applicant must be able to work a flexible schedule including: weekdays, weekends and holidays and occasionally be on call.
