Hairstylist/Cosmetologist

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist with a following to join our dynamic team. Via Angelique Hair Lounge is in the heart of Briarcliff Manor where traditional and modern hair design meet.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cutting, coloring, and styling hair according to client preferences.
• Utilize salon software such as Vagaro for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
• Upsell additional services and products to enhance the client experience.
• Perform hair threading techniques as requested by clients.
• Maintain knowledge of current trends in hair styling and beauty treatments.
• Foster positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth salon operations.

Experience

• Must have a following of clients.
• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within the beauty industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A valid cosmetology license is required.

Expected hours: 20 – 36 per week
