ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Production Management (high mix low volume for US team customer trial) : Oversee the production process, ensuring that manufacturing operations meet production targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines. Coordinate with production teams to optimize workflow, minimize downtime, and address any issues that arise during production.
- Inventory Control : Manage inventory levels for both raw materials / components and finished goods in the warehouse. Implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Warehouse Management : Supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products. Ensure efficient use of warehouse space, organization of inventory, and accuracy of inventory records through regular audits and cycle counts.
- Logistics Coordination : Coordinate with transportation providers to arrange inbound and outbound shipments, optimizing freight costs and transit times. Monitor logistics performance and address any issues related to shipping delays, damages, or discrepancies.
- Quality Assurance : Implement quality control measures to ensure that both incoming materials / components and outgoing products meet quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues in the production and warehousing processes.
- Facility Management, Safety and Compliance : Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in both production and warehouse environments. Implement safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for employees and mitigate occupational hazards.
- Supply Chain Coordination : Collaborate with suppliers to coordinate deliveries of raw materials / components and manage supplier relationships. Optimize supply chain efficiency by minimizing lead times, reducing inventory carrying costs, and mitigating supply chain risks.
- Team Supervision : Lead a team of production and warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Foster a positive work culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
