What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician I position at Viaflex, Inc.?

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Utilize appropriate hand tools for the preparation of liner placement.
- Assist with panel deployment.
- Cleans, marks, and preps liner for seaming or welding.
- Ability to follow written procedures to ensure correct material requirements.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment.
- Will work outside in the elements (hot, cold, wet).
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Follow established safety and ergonomic standards.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Aptitude to learn installation procedures. Is self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision. Ability to efficiently work at a fast pace. Strong attention to detail. Ability to operate installation tools (power tools, crimpers, strippers, etc.). Ability to troubleshoot and/or problem-solve. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff. Good eye/hand coordination. Ability to stand for long periods.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:
Physical Requirements: Required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Working Conditions: Exposure to a normal office environment. Position may occasionally require entering a production environment, including exposure to noise, fumes, moving machinery, and varied temperatures.
