ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work closely with the pricing team and other cross-functional teams to learn about teamwork and collaboration. This will help to foster better product understanding.
- Assist in collecting and entering pricing data into relevant tools and databases.
- Use data to identify basic trends and patterns.
- Develop an understanding of business concepts and terminology.
- Support the identification of customer segments and assist in basic segmentation tasks.
- Gain exposure to customer behavior, preferences, and market trends.
- Create basic visualizations of business data using Excel. Be prepared to present as needed.
- Learn to present data visually for easier interpretation. Be open to a variety of methods.
- Help in preparing basic reports and documentation.
- Develop the skill of communicating findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Assist in assessing the impact of price changes on sales and revenue.
- Assist in conducting market research for basic customer insights.
- Contribute to a repository of pricing decisions and strategies.
- Learn to adapt pricing strategies in response to changing market conditions.
- Learn to identify potential risks associated with pricing strategies.
- Assist in evaluating and mitigating risks in pricing decisions.
- Contribute to the team's objectives and understand the company's overall goals.
- Interpret and create basic reports and visualizations of business data using Excel
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Applicant should be working toward a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Technical proficiency in data analysis is helpful. Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office programs. Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel. Strong administrative skills. Must be very detail oriented. Exceptional oral and written communications. High level of patience and service. Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills. Team player who is self-motivated and has ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
