Litigation Paralegal

Are you a paralegal that likes the camaraderie of working on a team? VF Law is a mid-sized, multi-state law firm looking for a paralegal to assist creditor's rights attorneys with litigation matters for our Lake Oswego, OR location.

Responsibilities:

• Manage legal documents and case files, ensuring accurate documentation and timely filing.
• Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, including drafting documents and pleadings.
• Communicate effectively with clients and court personnel, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Utilize Outlook and other tools for calendaring and tracking case-related activities.
• Proofread and review legal documents for accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Understand OR and WA state and local court rules, guidelines, case workflow processes.
• Legal research, including checking citations.

Qualifications:

• Technological competencies in general computer programs such as Word, Outlook, Excel, with Prolaw experience preferred
• Two years of law firm experience minimum
• Detail-oriented, organized, and motivated
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Type at least 50 wpm, 10-key
• HOA/Creditor's rights law firm experience a plus

Comp depends on experience; benefits after 90 days.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
