Role Overview

The Central Reporting Risk Analyst is responsible for developing, collecting, analyzing, and delivering comprehensive risk reports to support Vialto's risk management strategy. This role involves cross-departmental collaboration with compliance, engagement, and risk teams, as well as leadership, to ensure data accuracy, monitor risk metrics, and provide insights that drive effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Data Reporting and Analysis :

  • Collect, analyze, and compile risk-related data from various business units and enterprise-wide departments.
  • Generate regular risk reports, including risk exposure, incident reports, and risk assessments regionally and across the enterprise.
  • Monitor risk trends and identify potential areas of concern.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in qualitative and quantitative risk reporting.

Risk Monitoring and Metrics :

  • Prepare and automate recurring risk reports at regional and enterprise levels for management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and visualizations to track key risk indicators (KRIs) and performance metrics (KPIs).
  • Conduct regular reviews of risk data to identify patterns, anomalies, or emerging risks.
  • Maintain risk reporting systems, ensuring data integrity and efficient workflow.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams :

  • Collaborate with business units, risk, compliance, legal, and finance teams to gather data and deliver actionable risk insights.
  • Work closely with the risk management team to assess the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular updates and ad hoc reports to senior management regarding key risk exposures and areas of concern.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Reporting Standards :

  • Ensure all risk reports comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Support the preparation of risk-related materials for audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of risk reporting frameworks and methodologies.
  • Process Improvement and Automation :

  • Identify opportunities to automate and enhance the efficiency of risk reporting processes.
  • Recommend improvements to risk reporting tools, systems, or platforms to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Continuously refine risk reporting practices based on feedback and insights from risk events.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in risk management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Professional risk management certification (e.g., FRM, CRM) preferred.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Competencies :

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clarity in data presentation.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Skilled in task prioritization, multitasking, and meeting deadlines.
  • Preferred knowledge of financial, operational, and compliance risks.
