JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the East Coast Sales Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategic plan that will provide for the growth and maintenance of the Company’s automotive OEM business. Inherent in these responsibilities will be the positioning of the Company as the preferred vendor for all the appropriate manufactured products. This will be accomplished by developing strategic partnering relationships and providing the OEM customer base with world class service and support in all areas of sales and, marketing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILTIES
· Work with the Director of Sales to establish a sales strategy that will provide and ensure for increased profitable sales. Review performance against operating plans and standards.
· Build a personal relationship at an appropriate level of management at each account.
· Lead by example. Remain as visible as possible, to both staff and customers, and personally demonstrate the work and service ethic necessary for growing sales in a competitive environment.
· As required, work closely with the Director of Sales and EVP, in the development and execution of marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of the company’s products and services.
· Obtain accurate information from the customer to ensure the quoting process is both accurate and timely.
· Work with the staff to ensure fast and efficient customer service. Resolve customer complaints regarding products and services.
· Assess customer sales and trends to help provide accurate forecasts.
· As necessary, research, analyze and monitor the progress of products, pricing policy and product packaging to ensure the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
· Create, analyze and control sales budget and expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements established by senior management.
· Remain aware of competitive products, their selling strategies, and industry changes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 10 or more years of successful OEM automotive sales and management experience, with exposure to a broad base of OEM accounts.
· A basic understanding of plastics and related manufacturing processes.
· Experience developing new products for OEM customers.
· Demonstrated computer skills in MS Word and Excel.

EDUCATION:
A Bachelors Degree in a related field from an accredited college.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
