Requirements
Management or technical degree is desirable. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree for a candidate who can demonstrate the combination of experience, training and education to be capable of successfully fulfilling all duties and responsibilities of the position. At a minimum High School Diploma or GED/Equivalence in certifications.

- Make decisions regarding job assignments, work priorities, and overtime requirements.
- Complete change-over’s, processing and monitoring of presses.
- Manage Staffing on the Shop Floor (Press utilization)
- Trouble shoot/Problem Solve daily production issues to hit targets
- Ensure all associates follow all SOP, WI and MI requirements based on job duties
- Conduct Weekly Payroll Activities
- Manage Conflicts on within the production team
- Conduct daily transition/changeover/shift meetings
- Ensure Safe Environment for floor staffed
- Ensure/Manage complaint to GMP/GDP standards across shift
- Provide support staff (Material handlers, Technicians, Warehouse, etc.) with directions to support floor production
- Promote and Drive Viant Values and Culture
- Conduct 30/60/90 Reviews on all new employees
- Responsible for the resolution of shift staffing issues. Ensures that production schedule requirements are met.
- Responsible for performance coaching and/or counseling of individuals for unacceptable performance relating to safety, quality, productivity and/or inappropriate behaviors to include disciplinary action if required to resolve performance issue.
- Ensures the shift maintains quality standards and expectations are being followed.
- Ensures product quality, production efficiencies and overall productivity meets or exceeds established standards.
- Provides leadership and direction to associates to continuously improve quality, reduce waste and increase throughput.

- General understanding of support staffs' processes and procedures.

Requirements
- 0 – 5 yrs. of Experience
- Understanding of problem tools and techniques
- Knowledge of safety standards for OSHA and production
- Proficiency in Conflict Resolution and People development
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- High communication skills
- Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience working in GDP/GMP environments
- Basic knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma Tools
- Understanding of company metrics and how to drive
