As Production Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing all of the production related activities and the day-to-day operation. Provide leadership to all assigned personnel and ensure that all safety, quality and productivity goals are met. Track line efficiencies and quality as well as labor to ensure operation within budgeted guidelines. This position is responsible for effective execution of the job responsibilities noted below.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday from 2.45 pm to 11.30 pm / Occasional weekend work might be required based on business needs.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure timely production by identifying and developing present and future capacities with respect to manpower and equipment to ensure product requirements are met in the most cost-efficient manner.
Ensure production schedules are met by deploying the appropriate resources while managing labor costs to productivity standards.
Provide leadership to all shifts to ensure fair and consistent application of processes and procedures are administered across all shifts.
Ensure schedules meet production plans and are executed effectively and on time.
Determine the best molding process and maintain an organized system, optimize processes and methods to ensure maximum and steady output, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.
Work toward the elimination of scrap by properly evaluating the causes and developing and maintaining a comprehensive process ensuring required quality standards are met and adhered to.
Ensure all departmental associates are trained and informed of all quality requirements.
Develop and improve production processes, systems, and procedures to maintain and improve quality standards as well as minimize waste and inefficiencies.
Responsible for the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the facility.
Oversee finite production planning, facilitate production meetings and ensure work scheduled through the product control system is in alignment with the sales forecast.
Coordinates production operations with engineering, shipping, scheduling and inventory management by reviewing reports and operations as required.
Monitor line & equipment performance and implement PM & improvement programs.
Work closely with the Quality Manager to ensure plant procedures are followed and monitored for effectiveness
Lead continuous improvement through the use of lean manufacturing tools.
Work with internal and external customers to improve overall processes to increase product quality and productivity.
Ensure customer satisfaction with product quality and by achieving on-time delivery performance objectives.
Communicate regularly with plant personnel to maintain high level of morale.
Identify equipment needs and implement effective preventive maintenance schedules.

Job Requirements:
Preferred degree or 2 years of equivalent work experience in manufacturing environments.
Experience with an ERP system, IQMS preferred.
Excellent computer skills.
Intermediate - High Excel Skills
Must be comfortable in a fast paced, deadline-oriented business environment.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
