JOB PROFILE: Human Resources Generalist

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The HR Generalist is detail-oriented and organized, specializing in payroll and benefits. Payroll Administration:
- Process and manage payroll for employees from different US projects, ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies.
- Coordinate with payroll vendors, HR, and finance teams to ensure accuracy in payments, tax filings, and record-keeping.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports, including tax filings and year-end documentation (e.g., W-2s, 1099s).
- Handle payroll-related discrepancies, inquiries, and audits efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, tax submissions, and local labor regulations.
- Assist in the implementation and optimization of payroll and HRIS systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll and benefits processes for efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Standardize global practices where feasible, respecting local variations.
Benefits Administration
- Administer and oversee the US employee benefits program, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, and wellness programs.
- Collaborate with regional HR teams to implement competitive benefits packages that comply with local laws and align with company policies.
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries, enrollment, and changes.
- Partner with benefits providers to manage vendor relationships and resolve issues.
- Monitor and administer leave policies, including FMLA, disability, and other paid/unpaid leave programs.
- Oversight of Company Shares program with Castor International.
HR Generalist Responsibilities:
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientations and exit interviews.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
- Responsible for Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual reports for HQ.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and company regulations.
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, including wellness programs and recognition efforts.
- Collaborate with the HR team to address employee relations issues and support organizational goals.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong organizational skills with an ability to meet deadlines.

- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and benefits management in a national context.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with HRIS systems.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and benefits platforms.
