The Vice President of Support Services is a critical leadership role responsible for the overall performance and strategic direction of ViaSun Corporation's support services, encompassing Traffic Control, Shop, and Lab. This individual will be measured on their ability to achieve the following key performance indicators (KPIs) and responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for all support services which include Traffic Control, Shop, and Lab for ViaSun Corporation.
- Implement, maintain, utilize, and execute processes and the process playbook to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality in the support services.
- Drive growth and profitability to maximize operational efficiency while managing the support services budgets and cash flow.
- Drive excellence and continued improvement, promoting a culture of innovation and learning.
- Manage and mitigate divisional risk proactively, addressing challenges and ensuring successful outcomes.
- Oversee client experience, drive business development, and identify and propose new opportunities for support services.
- Build/maintain strong relationships with partners, regulatory agencies, potential clients, and project stakeholders.
- Lead, develop, manage, retain, and hold everybody within the Support Services Department accountable.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Mentor, coach, and develop team members while supporting career growth within the organization.
- Drive our robust safety culture to protect employees, partners, subcontractors, and the public.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to ViaSun’s core values and culture while fostering a continuous improvement mindset.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience, or equivalent experience of 15 years.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Viewpoint, HeavyJob, HeavyBid, and MS Office programs.
