Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Perform basic troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical malfunctions on production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- Assist with preventive maintenance tasks according to schedules to maintain equipment reliability and extend operational lifespan.
- Prepare appropriate material requisitions for assigned projects and general repairs.
- Collaborate with engineers and production personnel to identify opportunities for equipment optimization and process improvements.
- Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to analyze and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Document maintenance activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and any follow-up action required for accurate record-keeping and future reference.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
- Minimum of an Associate degree or technical certification in Electro - Mechanical Engineering Technology with 0 – 2 years of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
