VibrantCare Rehabilitation is seeking a career driven, detail oriented, individual for entry level Scheduling Specialist position. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get their foot in the door in a medical billing office.
- NOT REMOTE
- $15-$16/hr- FT w/ bens (Mon-Fri)
- Patient Scheduling REQUIRED
- Call Center PREFERRED
Essential Responsibilities, as assigned:
- Processes all incoming faxes and intake emails received.
- Sorts referrals, clinic correspondence such as plan of care, subpoena and/or medical records requests
- Logs and links patient referrals into the Referral Log Database.
- Scans miscellaneous correspondence into specific clinic folders on the network.
- Contacts all new patients that have been referred for PT/OT within 24 hours upon receipt of referral and schedules Initial Evaluation scheduled with specific clinic location. Records all attempts to contact the patient in the referral database.
- Makes second/third attempt calls patients that are not currently scheduled for initial evaluation
- Calls Initial Evaluation cancels/no shows in order to reschedule appointments
- Assists with Intake emails regarding clinic requests
- Scans and links insurance cards upon receipt from clinic and verifies that that the insurance verified matches the information on the insurances cards
- Meets productivity requirements established for each function within the department
- Answers telephones including clinic roll-over phone calls and directs incoming telephone calls.
- Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.

- Background and reference (managers, supervisors and team leads) checks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
