Craft Beer and Food! β Vibrissa Beer is a production brewery and kitchen in the heart of historic downtown Front Royal, VA. We have a beautiful facility and a full-service kitchen that specializes in upscale pub fare and nationally award-winning beer.

We are looking for a personable, hardworking senior line cook that can contribute to a positive and engaging team that is dedicated to learning and growing together. Our Senior Line Cook should be organized, professional and uphold and reinforce the highest standards through leading by example, training and coaching. The ultimate result is to create food that delights and thrills our customers and helps them celebrate the special moments in their lives.
Qualifications:
- Experience working as a team/shift lead or ready to move up to that position
- 3-5 years experience in a professional high volume kitchen
- High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines
- Able to delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed
- Adaptable to high traffic and kitchen volume
- ServSafe Manager Certification required or completed upon hire.
Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: preparing food to the highest standard, ensuring that dishes are consistent and cooked to the right level. Working as a shift leader, on the line and as an Expo.
- Kitchen Management: supervises kitchen staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently, and following all safety and health regulations.
- Inventory Management: assists the chef/sous chef with inventory, including ordering ingredients and supplies, and ensuring that the kitchen has everything it needs to function smoothly.
- Training - helps with station training and provides one-on-one coaching where necessary.
- Sanitation and Safety: ensures that the kitchen is clean and that all staff are following sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Quality Control: ensures that all dishes meet the restaurant's quality standards, and that they are served correctly.
- Communication: communicates effectively with other kitchen staff, as well as front-of-house staff, to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
